On May 15, 2016, 20^th Shenyang Japanese Speech Contest was successfully held in Shenyang Library.  This contest was hosted by Japanese Association in Shenyang, supported by Liaoning Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Liaoning Japan Friendship Association and etc.  Mr. Chen Tiecheng, president of Liaoning Japan Friendship Association delivered a speech.  Mr. Li Chengzhi, vice secretary general of our association served as the judge for the contest.

The contest was undertaken by three groups, namely college major group, college non-major group and middle school group.  30 contestants from Northeast University, Chinese Medical University, Liaoning University, Liaoning Normal University,  Northeast Yucai School etc attended the final contests.

This contest set up a platform for contestants to show the excellent Japanese skills and enhance the understanding of Japanese culture, and thus will play a constructive role to improve the Japanese level of students and increasing the Sino-Japan friendship among the young people.
